Rockefeller’s is a modern take on the traditional steakhouse. Our name is significant to us for a few reasons. Oysters Rockefeller’s name was derived from a young chef in the 1890’s in New Orleans. The Oyster dish became so popular for its rich and bold flavors that they named it after the richest man of the time, John D. Rockefeller. We here at Rockefeller’s, are following in that tradition of rich and bold flavors in all of our dishes.
